The Workhorse of Cutting Applications – 22.5″ Beam Saw
The 22.5″ Beam Saw (3 phase with 60″ crosscut) model 3691-01-07 is the largest saw manufactured by Original Saw Company. This Beam Saw model maxes out at 1500 pounds and is constructed of cast iron, cast aluminum, a box tubing beam, and a steel frame. Use this Beam Saw to make repeated cuts in an industrial setting.
This Beam Saw features a massive 8” depth of cut in a single pass and has the crosscut capacity of 60″ on 1″ stock. Model 3691-01-07 can also bevel cut a full 4″. This machine is made to withstand years of industrial cutting. With a powerful 7.5 HP motor, the Beam Saw can cut several pieces of material at a time.
22.5″ Beam Saw Sets Itself Apart from the Rest
The 22.5-inch model utilizes a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) to control the arbor motor. Using the VFD allows the speed of the blade to increase over 8 seconds, which results in a smooth start-up.
Do you have the capability to run 3 phase power at your location? If so, this is the model you want. 3 phase power creates a smoother motor start-up. There tends to be less maintenance and longer service life with no relays or capacitors inside the motor.
