Description

Why Invest in a Beam Saw from Original Saw Company?

The Beam Saw (single phase with 64″ crosscut) is a vital tool to boost production.

Weighing in at 1500 pounds, the Beam Saw is manufactured from cast iron, cast aluminum, a box tubing beam, and a steel frame. Due to its durability, customers can use this hefty machine for two to three work shifts per day in an industrial setting. In addition to the many hours, this saw can “work,” the 16” Beam Saw’s powerful motor allows the Beam Saw to cut several pieces of material at a time.

Beam Saws cut a variety of materials. Choose this saw to cut metal, wood, aluminum, steel, and other kinds of materials. These saws are effective for crosscutting and bevel cutting. The model 3691-01-01 can cut 5” deep in a single pass. It also has a crosscut of up to 64″ on 1” stock.

This model of Beam Saw features a VFD (variable frequency drive) and is made to withstand years of industrial cutting. This model in the Beam Saw series features VFD technology. Using the VFD increases the speed of the blade by over 8 seconds. Because of the VFD, this saw has a slower, smoother start-up. The VFD also slows and stops the saw over approximately 25 seconds to allow for consistent braking times.
