The Fixed Foot Saw Measuring System makes precise, repeatable cuts in high-volume cutting applications. It features a fixed foot mounted on an aluminum rail secured by a steel bracket. The foot slides smoothly along the rail for precise positioning and accurate measurements. Unlike a flip foot system, the fixed foot remains in place during operation, making it ideal for repetitive cuts of the same length. This system is available in 4′, 6′, and 8′ sections, which can be combined for lengths up to 32 feet.
The system mounts seamlessly to Original Saw Company’s Saw Extension Tables using the T-slot on the aluminum extrusion for a stable, precise measuring setup. The pre-punched holes on the extension tables allow for easy alignment and secure installation.
A longer foot option is available for applications requiring smaller or multiple cuts.

The first option is to purchase a Saw Measuring System simultaneously as a saw. Shipping will be via freight truck. Lead time on saws with Saw Measuring Systems is generally 3-4 weeks.
The second option allows customers to order Saw Measuring Systems without a saw. They are an in-stock item and can generally be shipped out 2-3 days after placing the order. Depending on the size and number of measuring systems ordered, they can be shipped by UPS or freight truck.
To ship measuring systems more cost-effectively, we offer the 8’, 12’, and 16’ lengths with a “cut and boxed” option to ship UPS instead of a freight truck. All lengths are cut to 4’ and then packaged in 4’ boxes. When ordering those lengths, look for the part numbers that say -CB.

The Fixed Foot Slider attaches to the rail using a machined block assembly and a steel bracket. The block assembly slides along the aluminum extrusion while the steel bracket securely holds the Fixed Foot Slider in place.
The Saw Measuring System attaches to the back of Original Saw Company’s Saw Extension Table by bolting through the t-slot on the bottom of the aluminum extrusion. The extrusion aligns with the saw’s fence for accurate measurement. Original Saw’s Roller and Flat Extension Tables include pre-punched holes, making installation quick and straightforward.
The Gang Stop is compatible with Fixed Foot Saw Measuring Systems and is ideal for high-volume projects. The Gang Stop attaches to the Fixed Foot Slider and extends outward. It allows for multiple pieces at a 90-degree angle.
Fixed Foot: A sliding stop that can be slid up and down the rail but does not flip out of the way.
Flip Foot: A movable stop that flips up and down, allowing the user to flip the stop up out of the way to load and unload materials.
Install the Saw Measuring System on the infeed side, outfeed side, or both, depending on your cutting needs. Choose a left-side (-L) or right-side (-R) mount system for the appropriate configuration.
The Saw Measuring System can be adapted to other extension tables by drilling the appropriate mounting holes. This flexibility makes it compatible with various setups.
