The Lower Guard Kit – 16″ is compatible with:

  • Original Saw Company Heavy Duty Series (Models 3541 & 3546, Types 1–4)
  • Original Saw Company Super Duty Series (Models 3551, 3556, 3571 & 3576, Types 1–9)
  • Original Saw Company Super Duty Metal Cutting Radial Arm Saws (Models 3579-16M & 3579-16L, Types 1–10)
  • DeWalt Models 3521 and 3526 (if equipped with a 16″ guard).
Is the Lower Guard Kit - 16" required for OSHA compliance?

A lower guard is essential to meeting OSHA safety standards for saw operation. Check local regulations to ensure full compliance.

Is the Lower Guard Kit - 16" adjustable for different blade sizes?

The 16″ Lower Guard Kit is specifically designed for use with 16″ blades. We also offer 12″, 14″, and 20″/22.5″ kits if you need a Lower Guard for other blade sizes. Do You Need Test Cuts?

Are you unsure if this machine can cut your material?

Ask about sending in a material sample to Original Saw. We will cut your material on our shop saw and make a video. Afterwards, you can review the videoed test cuts and make informed decisions. Most importantly, we want you to feel comfortable with your solutions before your purchase.

How are Saw Extension Tables Shipped?

If Saw Extension Tables are purchased at the same time as a saw, the tables will be shipped with the saw via freight truck. Lead time on saws with Saw Extension Tables is generally 3-4 weeks.

Saw Extension Tables can also be ordered without a saw. Tables are an in stock item and can be shipped out approximately 2-3 days after the order is placed.

They can be shipped by UPS or by freight truck, depending on the size and number of tables ordered. Contact Original Saw Company at (800) 733-4063 or customerservice@originalsaw.com for a freight quote.
