Our Lower Guard Kit – 12″ is a critical safety feature, providing coverage for your saw blade to minimize exposure. This guard includes a durable, laser-cut aluminum ring that protects the sides and outer edge of the blade where the teeth are exposed, reducing the risk of accidental contact. Built to last and easy to install, this guard is required by OSHA to operate a Radial Arm Saw safely.

The 12″ Lower Guard Kit protects users by covering the exposed teeth on the bottom half of the saw blade and adding side protection. Lower Guards reduce injury risks by preventing accidental contact with the blade.
The 12″ Lower Guard Kit is compatible with Original Saw Company’s Contractor Duty Series, Model 3512 (Types 1–6), and DeWalt Models 7790 and 3436.

The 12″ Lower Guard Kit is specifically designed for use with 12″ blades. We offer kits in 14″, 16″, and 20″/22.5″ if you need a Lower Guard for other blade sizes. Please check our range of lower guard kits to find the right fit for your saw model.
