Sliding Clamp Nut Kit – Replacement Wear Part for Saw Measuring Systems

The Sliding Clamp Nut Kit is a genuine replacement wear part for Original Saw Company Saw Measuring Systems. It mounts to the underside of the red anodized slider and ensures the fixed or flip foot glides smoothly and locks securely every time.

If your measuring foot is difficult to slide or no longer locks into place, this kit restores proper operation and measurement accuracy.

Compatibility

This clamp nut kit is designed to fit:

• All Flip Foot Saw Measuring Systems
• Type 3 Fixed Foot Saw Measuring Systems
  • Identified by three mounting holes on the slider

It is not compatible with:

• Type 1 and 2 Fixed Foot Saw Measuring Systems
  • Identified by two mounting holes on the slider

If your fixed-foot slider has two holes, it is an older model. Contact Customer Service for the correct replacement part.

Durable Injection-Molded Construction

The clamp nut is made from an industrial-grade injection-molded material with built-in wear pads. These pads help reduce friction and extend the life of your measuring system by protecting the slider during daily use.

Easy Replacement Procedure

Installing the clamp nut is quick and straightforward:

1. Remove the clamp handle and socket-head set screw.
2. Slide the worn clamp nut off the underside of the red anodized slider.
3. Position the new clamp nut, ensuring the ¼-20 hex nuts align with the molded recesses.
4. Reinstall the socket-head screws.
5. Replace the center weld nut.

Once installed, the slider should again move freely and lock firmly in place.

Replace the clamp nut if you notice:

• The slider no longer moves smoothly
• The foot will not lock securely
• Excessive wear, deformation, or looseness
• Inconsistent or inaccurate measurement control
