Shipping & Receiving Clerk
JOB PURPOSE: Original Saw Company is seeking a dependable and organized Shipping & Receiving Clerk to manage the flow of incoming and outgoing materials and machinery. This hands-on position is responsible for preparing freight, coordinating shipments, receiving deliveries, and maintaining inventory. The role also provides cross-functional support to production and assembly as needed.
This is an in-person position based at our facility. Remote work is not available.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and push/pull carts up to 400 lbs.
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or similar equipment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and pneumatic tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, diagrams, and part breakdowns
- Punctual, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous shipping/receiving or warehouse experience
- Basic computer skills
- Familiarity with UPS/FedEx and LTL freight processes
- Willingness to participate in continuous improvement efforts
- Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
