Engineering and Research & Development Specialist –
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate degree or 4 years relevant work experience
- Proficient in SolidWorks and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to read and interpret diagrams, part breakdowns, and technical documents
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform hands-on prototyping and inspections
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. and work in a manufacturing environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in a manufacturing or product development environment
- Familiarity with 3D printing and quality control techniques
- Project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple initiatives
- Experience using statistical process control (SPC) methods
- Willingness to assist in trade shows and occasional travel to customer sites
Procurement and Purchasing Manager –
JOB PURPOSE: We’re looking for a detail-oriented, proactive Procurement and Purchasing Manager to lead sourcing, purchasing, and vendor management for Original Saw Company and Williams & Hussey Machine and Tool. In this key role, you’ll oversee the supply chain, maintain inventory levels, evaluate and negotiate with vendors, and support efficient production through strategic procurement decisions. You’ll also perform quality control checks on incoming parts and outbound machines to ensure product excellence.
This is an in-person position based at our facility. Remote work is not available.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong negotiation, vendor management, and communication skills
- Experience managing inventory, purchase orders, and procurement systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement/accounting software
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret technical diagrams
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work in a manufacturing environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Familiarity with forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Willingness to attend trade shows and represent the company
- Ability to analyze procurement data to improve processes and cost savings
